POLENTA
Essentially polenta is yellow maize meal that is cooked with water-like porridge and can be used as a base for toppings such as cheese, meat and vegetables. It can also be set in the refrigerator giving it a dough-like texture, to be cut or moulded and grilled, or toasted in the oven.
